Amazing experience at SO Bangkok! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by staff who directed us to where we needed to go. At check in, we saw that drinks were sometimes offered (we checked in during an event so the bar was busy with the customers). Each of the upper level floors were themed to an element (Metal, Wood, Earth, Water). Maybe the rooms followed a theme. We stayed on the 28th floor city facing side, which was within the Water Element. Not sure how the decor was water-related other than a little painting, but the extremely high ceiling room did have a massive bathroom with tub overlooking the city. The city-facing side of the room was entirely windows from floor to ceiling (probably 20 ft tall). Amenities were great with an infinity pool on the 10th floor and a rooftop bar on the 29th. There's also a monthly pool party on the last Saturday which we had complementary tickets to. Good music and ambience on the tanning deck on the backside of the pool. The hotel also had on-site dining in the form of a buffet, but we did not partake. We did however, enjoy a spa session at SO spa and some afternoon tea (Fashion HI-TEA). Overall, SO Bangkok has everything a luxury vacationer would want at a relatively affordable price. You will feel like royalty when you stay here.

We loved the pool and fitness centre which was very well equipped for a hotel. The views from the pool were great and our son loved it. We were only there for one night so we didn't explore locally but access to the downtown was easy with metro and sky train. Access to the airport(BKK) was also easy by taxi/grab with a motorway nearby. The rooms were designed in a unique way (elements - we had wood) which was also cool. It's an original experience and one everyone should definitely try once. Recommend.

What an unexpected little gem. loved this hotel, stunning views, super friendly staff, big rooms and the bed and pillows were amazing! lovely pool area. stand out was the breakfast which we had included. what amazing value for money, proper fresh coffees, fresh juices, anything you could want really! we stayed here our last night of 3 weeks away and it was such a nice way to end the trip before flying home. We normally stay at the W, but will definitely be staying here next time.

We stayed at Water Element room for 2 nights. I got exact room that I requested 2 months earlier. The view is amazing facing the Lumphini Park and overlooking the skylines of Bangkok. I love the circle big bathtub next to glass window. Really enjoy the view while relaxing in bathtub. The staffs was amazing and friendly. Breakfast buffet was average, not bad but not great.

Exceptional room, which was big and really comfy. Staff helped to organise the bday surprise for my gf which worked out perfectly. Breakfast was outstanding and has a huge variety of food options. Swimming pool with a View over the Lumpini park. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.
